First off, there's a new track on the Music page for free download. It's called "She Takes Control" and it was recorded for the Flying Information record but didn't quite make the cut in the end. So we thought we'd dust it off and share it with y'all. Luke at his melancholic best!

We've also got two gigs coming up in the next few weeks. First up is a return to our favourite stomping ground, the Retreat Hotel in Brunswick. This one's with our good mates Cold Irons Bound (always up for shenanigans!) on Sunday June 26th - great way to end your weekend! The second one is July 9 at the Yarra and it will be a monster day as part of Popboomerang's contribution to the Leaps and Bounds Festival - more about that soon!

Lastly (but definitely not leastly) we'd like to take this opportunity to welcome two new band members to Central Rain's live lineup - Paul McManus (The Mayblooms) takes over from Xain Milke on bass duties and Erica Menting chimes in on acoustic guitar and gorgeous backing vox. They've played two shows with us so far and it's sounding sweeeet!
